I knew it had been a while since I last updated, I did not realize it had been over a month. My apologies!
Unfortunately, I don’t have a lot to update you on. I’m still working through developmental edits for Get Ready With Me. I was hoping to be done with those by the end of the year, but I think that might be a little ambitious, so hopefully early in 2027!
As for my WIP, I finished the first draft! I have been taking some time off from writing, other than working through edits as I get them back from my editor. In the time I’ve taken off, I’ve been trying to work through my seemingly endless TBR list.
Last week I was on vacation from my 9-5 job and I read five books off my TBR in that week and was reminded why I have to take it easy with reading when I’m working. I have almost no self-control and stayed until nearly 3am a couple of times to finish books.
In a couple weeks probably, I’m going to dive back into my WIP and start self-edits. I love this story so much and I can’t wait for it to start developing into something really good.
The final thing I’m going to mention for now is this: as you’re all aware, I have spent the last eight or so months building up my social media presence. I am making some really good headway on both Instagram and TikTok, with Instagram really growing at a solid pace. With that said, I have given myself a goal of hitting 10K followers over there by the end of the year.
