Happy Sunday and thanks for being here again!
In January I decided to really focus on growing a social media presence for my writing. I started an Instagram first and it’s been slow going but yesterday I finally surpassed 350 followers—a small but exciting milestone!

I also started a Threads account yesterday which grew to about 25 followers in the first 24 hours, which was a fun surprise.
Meanwhile, I’m still sitting at 7 followers over here on Substack, with no idea how to grow that number.
I engage with other’s posts, I try to publish weekly to stay consistent, and I share my blog on my personal pages. So far nothing really seems to move the needle.
And you know what I’ve realized?
I am actually ok with that.
I am having so much fun writing these articles and documenting my writing/publishing journey. If the audience is small for now, that’s alright.
So, if you’re one of my seven followers, thank you so much for being here and I hope you find at least a little enjoyment in reading my rambling musings.
Here is to another week of writing, reading, and trying to market ourselves as writers in a world that increasingly expects authors to moonlight as micro-influencers.
With love and well-wishes,
