Welcome back friends!
I am coming to you now with some late-night ramblings about an exciting new project.

I have been in a bit of a rut the last week or so. I still have some finishing touches to put on the current novel I’m querying (Get Ready With Me) after changing a major plot-point late in the game. It’s occurring to me now too that I haven’t spoken about that novel in depth on this platform, so more to come on that soon!
I am also in the middle of editing my other completed manuscript (name announcement TBD).
While I love both of those projects deeply—I have been feeling stagnant. So much of the last two years have been spent working on them and they are far from perfect, at least the one I’m still editing is, but I just feel like I need to step out of them for a bit and write something new and fresh.
All of that to say—I started a new book tonight!
The idea for it has been living in my notes app since before I started writing Get Ready With Me. It took me a while to untangle the glaring plot holes of the original idea, but I finally know the direction I want to go with it.
And so tonight I started putting the metaphorical pen to paper and writing a new contemporary romance.
While I will still be working on my other projects too and keeping you updated on them right here in my silly little blog, I am excited to document this journey in its entirety.
I will leave you with two notes I left on a couple of the character profiles for the new book.
Main Male Character: Toxic and hot AF. The girls will love him!
Supporting Male Character: We don’t hate [name], but we’re happy to see him go.
That’s all I have for tonight folks.
With love and a brand-new WIP,
That One Girl Who Writes
